Position: Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Location: Rocky View

Our client is looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join their team in Rocky View County, Alberta. This role supports assigned departments by providing broad HR guidance on workforce needs, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and organizational priorities. The ideal candidate brings a practical, service-oriented approach to HR, with strong communication and relationship-building skills, sound knowledge of HR policies and employment practices, and a commitment to fostering a positive and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities:

Partner with leaders to provide HR guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.

Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including job intake, candidate screening, interviews, references, and employment documentation.

Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters in accordance with policies and legislation.

Support workplace investigations by gathering information, documenting findings, and providing recommendations.

Coordinate disability, accommodation, and attendance management processes, including documentation and case follow-up.

Provide guidance on compensation, job evaluation, organizational structure, and position management.

Support organizational change initiatives through communication planning, impact assessment, and employee support.

Analyze HR trends and workforce data to identify opportunities and recommend proactive people strategies.
