Strategic human resources partnership awaits in Calgary with Cenovus, supporting the Chief Financial Officer through organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
As an HR Business Partner Specialist, you will advise Finance leaders and collaborate with HR Business Partners, Operations, and Centers of Expertise. The position addresses complex organizational challenges, strategic people initiatives, and workforce readiness. You will provide independent counsel across organizational change, talent, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise the Chief Financial Officer and Finance leadership team
- Diagnose organizational effectiveness, operating model, and leadership challenges
- Drive talent reviews, succession, development, and workforce planning
- Manage complex employee relations matters independently
- Guide people and change components of workforce transformations
- Minimum 12 years of progressive human resources experience
- At least eight years in an HR Business Partner capacity
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
- Expertise in organizational design, talent, planning, relations, and change
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
