This is a four‑month temporary position from May – August 2026.

What will you do?
  • Provide first‑level IT support by triaging and resolving hardware, software, and account‑related issues.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members with clear documentation.
  • Support incoming service desk tickets, ensuring timely responses, updates, and ticket closure.
  • Assist with imaging, configuring, and deploying laptops and other end‑user devices.
  • Set up new employee workstations, including equipment preparation and software installation.
  • Support IT procurement activities, including researching items, preparing orders, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Track IT orders, receive equipment, and update asset inventory systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, warranties, and lifecycle status.
  • Assist with decommissioning, recycling, and secure data wiping of retired devices.
  • Contribute to IT documentation, including knowledge base articles, procurement logs, checklists, and process guides.
What will you need?
  • Currently enrolled in at least the second year of a post‑secondary degree or diploma program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a collaborative team player with a customer‑focused mindset.
