Position: Paid Media Specialist / Media Buyer

We’re looking for someone who sees paid media as more than just numbers and metrics. Someone who loves turning data into stories that connect and convert. If you’re passionate about shaping campaigns that drive real results, and you thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment, we want to hear from you.

You’ll join a team that values strategy, creativity, and partnership. Together, we’ll define campaign goals, like awareness, lead gen, or sales, and select the right platforms and campaign types to get our clients noticed. You’ll build and manage campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, ensuring tracking is seamless, and optimize performance every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Work with strategists to define campaign objectives, choose campaign types, develop audience targeting strategies, and create media plans.
  • Build and manage campaigns across Google and Meta, set bids, placements, schedules, and optimization settings.
  • Ensure Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking are set up correctly, and coordinate with web and dev teams as needed.
  • Continuously monitor performance, run A/B tests, adjust targeting and budgets, and scale top‑performing ads.
  • Create and deliver regular performance reports with strategic insights.
  • Work with designers and copywriters to develop effective assets and provide briefs based on testing insights and platform best practices.
  • Stay current with ad policy changes, new features, and industry benchmarks.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
  • Have 1-3 years managing digital ad campaigns and/or data‑heavy work
  • You spot opportunities in the data that others might miss
  • Managing multiple campaigns and shifting priorities keeps you sharp
  • You’re the first to spot a platform update—and already have a plan for it
  • You enjoy collaborating with creative minds to push campaigns further
  • Turning insights into real, measurable results keeps you motivated
Tools of the trade:
  • Google Suite
  • Slack
  • Google Ads (Search, Display, You Tube, PMax)
  • Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager
The Details:
  • $20-35/hour: depending on experience
  • Hours: Part‑time, flexible
  • Location: Hybrid (Calgary + area), remote‑friendly across Canada for the right candidate.
  • Reports to: CEO + Lead Strategist
