Python & Infrastructure Specialist

Position: Optave Python & Infrastructure Specialist Role
Optave seeks a Python and Infrastructure Specialist in Calgary to work with Terraform and AWS. Enhance our systems and support customer service innovation with backend development.

This role is based on-site in Calgary and demands an expert with over 4 years of Python experience and at least 3 years utilizing Terraform in production settings. You will play a critical part in managing AWS infrastructure and collaborating with teams for integrated systems. Your coding will be at the forefront of customer support technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect Terraform modules for our AWS infrastructure

• Develop automation scripts for deployment and data workflows

• Operate data infrastructure solutions, including Open Search

• Maintain complex AWS systems and CI/CD pipelines

• Implement security protocols to comply with SOC 2 guidelines

Requirements:

• 4+ years writing maintainable Python in production

• 3+ years of Terraform expertise in live environments

• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture

• Experience with CI/CD best practices

• Skills in writing regulatory compliance documentation
