Cognizant is seeking a Deskside Support Engineer in Calgary to provide critical IT support in a hybrid setting. Ideal candidates will be proactive problem solvers with a customer-first focus.
As a Deskside Support Engineer at Cognizant, you will have 7-8 years of experience in IT to assist users with various technology needs. This role includes providing top-level support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices while performing network troubleshooting. Your ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment will be crucial as you collaborate with staff across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced support for IT devices and peripherals
• Troubleshoot network issues effectively
• Perform installations and upgrades for hardware/software
• Manage Active Directory and user accounts
• Handle incident tickets and support documentation
Requirements:
• 7-8 years IT support experience, preferably in enterprise
• Strong skill set in Microsoft 365 and endpoint security
• Experience with ticketing platforms and remote support methods
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills for user interaction
