Join Burgundy Diamond Mines as a Summer IT Intern focusing on cybersecurity and infrastructure in Calgary. Enhance your technical skills while supporting desktop and network functions in the mining industry.
In this term position, you will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of IT Services areas. This internship will introduce you to real-world challenges including desktop support, user onboarding, and infrastructure management. Your proactive attitude will help you thrive as you tackle tasks that complement your academic learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Onboard new users with efficient techniques
• Daily technical support for end users
• Build and deploy desktop systems effectively
• Conduct server support as needed
• Manage IT inventory and assist remotely
Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Diploma in IT
• Proficient in computer skills and database management
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications and hardware
• Ability to work independently on tasks
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
