Position: Senior SAP Developer to support and lead enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA initiative

S.i System's client is looking for a Senior SAP Developer to support and lead enterprise-wide SAP S/4

HANA initiative

12 month contract - high chance of extension - 37.5 hours/week - 3 days a week onsite in Vancouver open to Calgary or Toronto candidates willing to work PST timezone and travel occasionally

MUST HAVES:

Extensive SAP ABAP experience in S/4

HANA implementations, upgrades, or conversions

Expertise in OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, OData, Enhancements (BAdIs/User Exits), and Adobe/Smart Forms

Strong techno-functional knowledge of SAP FI, SD, and core logistics processes

Experience with integrations (IDocs, RFCs, APIs, web services)

Understanding of S/4

HANA architecture, data models, and simplification items

Proven performance tuning and debugging experience in HANA environments

Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 from a backend enablement perspective

Exposure to SAP BTP, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), or SAP Cloud integrations

Knowledge of SAP security concepts, role design impacts, and authorization objects related to custom development

Experience working within SAP Activate or Agile delivery methodologies

Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD alignment in SAP landscapes

Experience in regulated industries with strong audit and compliance required
