Position Summary

Staffing Pedia is seeking a Manager, IT Infrastructure to lead the design, implementation, and operational management of an enterprise infrastructure environment. This role has a strong emphasis on network systems, firewalls, server infrastructure (on-premise and cloud), virtualization, and overall IT operations.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to maintain a secure, reliable, and high‑performing infrastructure.

Basic cybersecurity knowledge is required to ensure secure network and server operations; advanced security expertise is not mandatory.

  • Translate organizational goals into actionable infrastructure strategies and operational plans.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach the IT infrastructure team to achieve high performance and service excellence.
  • Maintain business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) plans, including documentation and regular testing.
  • Drive technology modernization and continuous improvement across the infrastructure environment.
Infrastructure & IT Operations
  • Oversee and perform hands‑on work in:
  • Network infrastructure (routing, switching, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, monitoring)
  • Firewall platforms (Palo Alto or similar—rule sets, tuning, monitoring)
  • Server environments (Windows Server, Linux, virtualization technologies)
  • Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, hybrid solutions)
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure system reliability, patching, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues escalated across network, server, and cloud platforms.
Team Management
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to technical staff.
  • Support professional development and certification pathways.
  • Maintain efficient workload distribution and strong operational coverage.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SLA compliance and quality delivery.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies that improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and resilience.
  • Coordinate external partners for specialized infrastructure services when required.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network operations.
  • Strong, hands‑on experience with:
  • Network design, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Firewall administration (Palo Alto or equivalent)
  • Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization (VMware preferred)
  • Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Basic cybersecurity knowledge to ensure secure network and server operations, including:
  • Access control, patching, system hardening, monitoring fundamentals
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks or tools (NIST, CIS Controls, vulnerability scanning, SIEM)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365, backup and recovery systems, and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Ability to write or modify scripts using Power Shell, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience using Teams, Zoom, Web Ex, and similar collaboration platforms.
Assets (Not Mandatory)
  • Advanced cybersecurity experience or exposure to enterprise security tooling
  • Palo Alto firewall architecture and design experience
  • Hyper‑V administration
  • Network storage, data protection, or DR platforms
  • Automation platforms such as SCCM, Intune, Ansible,…
