The Systems Administration Support Specialist plays a key role in providing hands‑on infrastructure and operational support across multiple technology environments. This position supports an established internal IT team by assisting with day‑to‑day operational demands, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is well suited to a versatile IT generalist who enjoys working across a wide range of technologies, thrives in dynamic environments, and values teamwork over narrow specialization.

• Provide day‑to‑day support for enterprise infrastructure systems and services
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure‑related incidents and requests
• Support and maintain virtualization platforms, primarily VMware
• Assist with cloud platforms and virtual desktop services
• Troubleshoot and support Citrix environments (on‑premises and cloud‑based)
• Support storage, compute, and backup solutions
• Maintain and support Active Directory and identity services
• Collaborate with team members on operational improvements and system enhancements
• Contribute flexibly across technologies as organizational needs evolve

Exposure across a broad and evolving enterprise technology stack, including:

• VMware
• Citrix (on‑premises and cloud)
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

• Microsoft Azure
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Nutanix
• HPE Compute
• Net App Storage

• Cohesity
• Commvault

• Active Directory

• 5–8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration
• Strong hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS
• Experience supporting Active Directory and identity management
• Ability to operate effectively in a generalist, support‑focused role
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving enterprise environments

• VMware virtualization (essential)
• Active Directory administration
• Exposure to Azure and/or AWS
• Citrix environment support
• Strong troubleshooting and hands‑on technical problem‑solving skills

• Nutanix infrastructure experience
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Enterprise backup platforms (Cohesity or Commvault)
• Net App or HPE infrastructure
• Experience supporting multi‑environment or complex enterprise systems
