IT Infrastructure Generalist – (Hybrid) 3 Month Contract

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Infrastructure Generalist to support core on‑premises and cloud infrastructure services in a collaborative, high‑performing environment. This is a contract opportunity to provide coverage during a planned leave, offering meaningful, impactful work within a company known for its supportive leadership, strong teamwork, and excellent company culture.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong infrastructure professional who enjoys working across a broad technology stack and contributing to continuous operational improvement. The role combines day‑to‑day technical execution with opportunities to collaborate across teams and help coordinate technical delivery when needed.

• Regular business hours within the Mountain Time zone

This role provides hands‑on support across servers, virtualization, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Azure infrastructure, and identity services. You will play a key part in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of IT systems while contributing to documentation, automation, and process improvements.

• Administer and support server and storage environments
• Maintain and troubleshoot VMware / vSphere infrastructure
• Develop and support scripting and automation solutions using Power Shell, with exposure to Infrastructure as Code practices
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
• Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune (policies, application deployment, and compliance)
• Support Azure infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
• Administer Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra )
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
• Contribute to operational improvements and best practices
• Coordinate or support technical delivery activities as required
• Work within a Service Now‑based ticketing environment

• Hands‑on experience with server and storage administration
• Strong background in VMware / vSphere virtualization
• Power Shell scripting and automation experience; familiarity with IaC concepts is an asset
• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online)
• Endpoint management using Microsoft Intune
• Azure infrastructure support, including Azure Virtual Desktop
• Identity management with Active Directory and Azure AD

• Strong team‑oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and initiative
• Experience supporting delivery coordination or small infrastructure projects
• Azure networking fundamentals
• Exposure to backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with security tooling such as Microsoft Defender and Conditional Access
• Understanding of ITIL practices

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, MD‑102, MS‑102, AZ‑900)
• VMware VCP
• ITIL Foundation
