Our client is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP and FIORI Developer to support ongoing SAP operations and project-based work

Join a high-impact project environment within the oil and gas sector, focused on delivering robust SAP solutions. This role contributes immediately to both production support and development across SAP ECC and SAP FIORI systems. It offers visibility across multiple integration streams and the opportunity to influence critical ERP enhancement initiatives. The engagement is structured for an experienced contractor with strong technical autonomy.

This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs)

Must Haves

Must have hands on experience developing with SAP
ABAP ideally with experience in SAP ECC 6.0

Strong SAP FIORI expertise including UI5 and SAP Gateway technologies

Proven delivery of RICEF objects
—reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms

Experience with BAd Is ,
user exits
, CDS Views
, and OData services

Exposure to Fiori Gantt charts and scheduling/calendar components

Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline

Nice to Have

Integration experience using APIs, IDocs, or file-based interfaces

Background with middleware such as PI/PO or CPI/BTP

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ABAP-based solutions in SAP ECC systems

Design and implement UI5-based applications within SAP Gateway

Deliver enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEF)

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly

Collaborate with functional and integration teams to meet business requirements

Participate in code reviews and structured testing cycles

Ensure development aligns with established standards and future S/4

HANA compatibility
