Position: Senior SAP Testing Lead to oversee end-to-end testing activities for large-scale SAP programs.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Testing Lead to oversee end-to-end testing activities for large-scale SAP programs. This role is ideal for a seasoned testing professional with strong leadership capabilities and deep expertise in SAP environments, particularly within utilities or IS-U implementations.
Duration - 6 months plus extension
Location - Markham Ontario
Work Mode - 3 days per week on site is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of the testing lifecycle, including planning, strategy, execution, defect management, and reportingDefine and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with project objectives and timelinesOversee both manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring optimal test coverage and quality outcomesCoordinate and manage testing activities across multiple systems, teams, and vendorsEnsure seamless integration of automation frameworks into overall testing strategyCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to validate requirements and ensure quality deliveryMonitor and report on testing progress, risks, and issues, providing proactive mitigation strategiesDrive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologiesMust Haves
10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a Test Manager or Lead roleStrong experience in SAP testing
, preferably within SAP IS-U or utilities industry programsProven experience managing testing for both greenfield and brownfield SAP implementationsHands-on experience with manual testing methodologies, tools, and best practicesDemonstrated experience integrating and overseeing automation testing within SAP projectsExpertise with SAP-focused automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca

, or similar platformsExperience managing complex test cycles across multiple systems and third-party vendorsStrong understanding of utilities business processes, including:BillingDevice ManagementMeteringCustomer ServiceEnergy Data Management
