Position: Network Security Engineer- MFT and Globalscape  EFT

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Globalscape EFT and Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with secure file transfer protocols, system configurations, and incident management in high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support Globalscape EFT / MFT environments and SFTP tools
  • Configure and maintain file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTPS
  • Perform account creation, event rule configuration, connection profiles, and key pair setup
  • Handle P1 & P2 incidents, troubleshoot issues, and ensure SLA adherence
  • Work on DMZ, RAM, and AWE configurations for secure file transfers
  • Support and manage High Availability (HA) servers and RAM agents
  • Perform encryption/decryption activities, SSL configuration, and permission group setups
  • Monitor and resolve tickets independently with minimal escalations
  • Diagnose root causes and provide permanent fixes for recurring issues
  • Execute scripts (Unix / Power Shell) integrated with file transfer processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and provide timely updates on incidents
  • Participate in on-call support rotation and critical incident handling
Required Skills (Essential)
  • Strong experience with Globalscape EFT (v7 & v8) and Managed File Transfer (MFT)
  • Proficiency in SFTP tools and file transfer technologies
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and secure transfer protocols (DMZ, RAM, AWE configurations)
  • Experience with High Availability (HA) environments
  • Knowledge of SSL setup and encryption mechanisms
  • Experience in incident management (P1/P2) with strict SLA adherence
  • Knowledge of Unix and Power Shell scripting
  • Familiarity with tools like Putty, WinSCP, File Zilla
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently during critical incidents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exposure to Cyber Security / Managed Security Services (MSS)
  • Experience with Windows Server environments
  • Automation in file transfer workflows
  • Prior experience working in 24x7 support models
  • Strong ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive approach to incident resolution and process improvement
  • Team collaboration with minimal supervision
