IAM Specialist

Overview

We are expanding our Cyber Security team and looking for a skilled IAM Specialist (Role-Based Security) to design, implement, and maintain user access and security roles in SAP systems. This full‑time position can be based in Stellarton, NS;
Mississauga, ON; or Calgary, AB.

• Design, implement, and maintain SAP user access and security roles.
• Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure access controls meet business requirements and comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Conduct segregation of duties (SoD) analysis, identify conflicts, and remediate them using automated tools.
• Develop and execute risk‑based security controls across SAP modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, auditors, and cross‑functional teams to support audit planning, execution, and reporting.

• SAP GRC Access Control (AC)
• SAP GRC Risk Management (RM)
• SAP GRC Audit Management
• SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, BW, SM, FIORI, and ILM

• Analytical and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for interaction with stakeholders, auditors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive data and access controls.

• GRC Access Control (AC):
  Proficiency in managing user access and role management within SAP systems.
• GRC Risk Management (RM):
  Strong understanding of risk‑management methodologies and best practices within the SAP environment.
• GRC Audit Management
  :
  Hands‑on experience with audit planning, execution, and reporting tools.

• Experience identifying and mitigating SoD conflicts and conducting risk analysis.
• Practical experience working with SoD rulesets and automated conflict remediation.
• Proficient in using SAP GRC AC for SoD analysis.

• Expertise in assessing and mitigating risks related to access control and system vulnerabilities.
• Experience implementing risk‑based security controls across various SAP modules.

Design, implement, and maintain security roles and authorizations across SAP systems (ECC, S/4 HANA, etc.). Knowledge of SAP security concepts, including RBAC, role design, authorization objects, and user profiles. Familiarity with profile generation and SAP's authorization concept.

Base salary: 83,326 – 110,917 CAD.
