About the RoleWe're hiring a Tech Ops Engineer to support on Day Shift 9am-5pm EST.
Tech Ops Engineer Responsibilities- Responsible for system uptime and integrity of customer systems; must be capable of building and architecting systems to maintain uptime.
- Documenting technical designs and creating training materials and documentation.
- Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Managing installations, upgrades, and maintenance of deployments of Linux, virtual environments such as Proxmox, as well as containerized environments such as Docker.
- Work closely with Dev Ops to implement and scale‑up automation of core tasks.
- Ensuring protection of data assets by maintaining strict security policies and guidelines.
- Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
- Work alongside Tech Ops, IT staff, IT Security and System Administrators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Expert system administrator for Debian based distributions.
- Expert in computer networks, hardware, support, IT security, and tools.
- Experience with multiple hosting environments (cloud, bare metal, VPS).
- Experience with various databases and SQL (MySQL preferable).
- Experience deploying and maintaining systems in cloud based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Highly organized, self‑starter and detail‑oriented.
- Programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Ansible).
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with emerging blockchain technologies.
- Passionate about the blockchain and crypto space.
- Experience with mission‑critical highly scalable systems.
