Application Security Engineer

Position: Black Duck Application Security Engineer Role
Shape the future of secure development at Black Duck in the Application Security Engineer position. This role focuses on customer enablement and implementing innovative App Sec solutions on the WEST COAST.

The ideal candidate will join Black Duck’s dedicated Technical Services team to help organizations maximize their software security efforts. You will work closely with various teams to educate clients and facilitate the adoption of security best practices. Your contributions will ensure that customers enjoy a high level of service and effective training for their teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Secure Development processes for clients

• Facilitate training and drive customer self-sufficiency

• Solve critical security and compliance issues

• Manage projects from conception to delivery

• Create custom integrations into existing workflows

Requirements:

• Experience deploying SaaS and on-prem solutions

• Software development experience in C/C++, C#, or Java

• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python and Bash

• History of client consultation and onboarding

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
