Position: Data Platform Architect for AI/ML Solutions
Drive data innovation at TAQA North as a Data Platform Architect based in Calgary. This role focuses on creating robust data architectures that support AI/ML and enterprise analytics.
As a member of the Information Technology team, you will report to the Manager of Enterprise Solutions and be instrumental in designing data solutions on platforms like Azure and Databricks. Your hands-on technical skills paired with architectural insight will facilitate the development of data strategies that improve scalability and performance. Mentoring and driving data governance will also be key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design data architectures to support advanced analytics

• Lead governance standards for data quality and compliance

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts for readiness

• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines and modernize platforms

• Foster self-service analytics capabilities with Power BI
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 3+ years in data architecture or analytics

• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms

• Knowledge of governance and lineage tools

• Must pass a background check for employment
