As a Service Desk Analyst, you will serve as the first point of contact for IT help requests, ensuring a swift and effective response for both the Calgary Head Office and district bases. Your responsibilities will include setting up new PCs, addressing technical issues, and participating in an on-call rotation. You’ll play a key role in supporting Trican's commitment to safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver first response IT support to staff
• Setup and config personal computers, including desktops
• Handle equipment decommissioning at lifecycle end
• Resolve daily technical challenges across all sites
• Oversee local support coordination and inventory management
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science preferred
• At least two years’ experience in desktop support
• Excellent customer focus and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office applications
