SAP Test Architect

We at Coforge are seeking an experienced SAP Test Architect to lead the testing strategy for our SAP ECC to S/4

HANA migration program. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands‑on expertise in defining test architecture, managing test sprints, and establishing entry and exit criteria across all testing phases. This role requires deep knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4

HANA landscapes, along with the ability to drive quality assurance initiatives end‑to‑end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the overall test strategy and architecture for SAP ECC to S/4
  
  HANA migration programs
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including functional teams and project leadership, to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Design and manage test sprints
  , ensuring timely execution and delivery
• Establish and enforce entry and exit criteria for all test phases (SIT, UAT, Regression, etc.)
• Oversee integration, functional, and end‑to‑end testing across SAP modules and external systems
• Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps in testing, and provide mitigation plans
• Ensure alignment with QA best practices
  , standards, and governance models
• Mentor and guide test leads and QA teams on tools, frameworks, and methodologies

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in SAP ECC to S/4
  
  HANA transformation projects
• Proven expertise in test architecture, planning, and execution
• Strong understanding of test lifecycle management, agile testing, and sprint planning
• Experience in defining entry/exit criteria and quality gates
• Solid knowledge of integration testing and multi‑system landscapes
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., SAP Solution Manager/Tricentis, JIRA etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to interface and data migration testing
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks in SAP environments
• Certifications in SAP, QA, or Agile methodologies

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to clearly articulate testing strategies, issues, and risks
• Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities
