Capgemini is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer specializing in RHEL migration and modernization initiatives. Support enterprise environments transition from RHEL7 to RHEL9 while optimizing CI/CD automation and security practices.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for modernizing enterprise infrastructure and addressing technical challenges during RHEL migration. You will execute OS migrations, resolve compatibility issues, and enhance containerization workflows. Strong skills in automation and scripting with Python and Groovy are essential to ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute OS migration from RHEL7 to RHEL9
• Refactor workflows from Docker to Podman
• Develop Jenkins pipelines using Groovy
• Review and remediate security vulnerabilities
• Build and manage RPM packages lifecycle
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with RHEL and Linux admin
• Proficient in Python and Groovy scripting
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience in vulnerability remediation
• Strong communication skills for client-facing role
