Systems Administration and Security Expert

As a Systems Administration and Security Expert with Unipec Canada in Calgary, you will play a key role in maintaining and securing our IT infrastructure. This dynamic position requires strong hands-on experience in systems administration.

You will be responsible for managing various server environments, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and optimizing systems for operational efficiency. This role also involves collaboration across global teams to support user needs, making sure our systems are robust and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Windows and Linux server management

• Administer Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments

• Implement and manage Fortinet security solutions

• Maintain cloud resources and network infrastructure

• Provide advanced technical support for IT requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related fields preferred

• 3–6 years of relevant systems administration experience

• Proven skills with networking and security best practices

• Familiarity with virtualization platforms is a plus

• Strong understanding of cloud services like Azure
