Capgemini Engineering is on the lookout for a senior Migration Deployment Specialist with a focus on IBM Z Workload Scheduler (IZWS). This role demands high-level expertise in mainframe operations and scheduling migrations.

As a Subject Matter Expert, you will navigate the complexities of large-scale batch scheduling migrations. Your analytical and technical skills will be essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the migration process. The position offers a chance to impact workload migrations significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead migration of batch scheduling to IZWS

• Assess legacy platforms and apply IZWS frameworks

• Manage parallel tracking and validation during migrations

• Oversee workload execution using TSO/ISPF

• Develop and update detailed migration documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in mainframe environments (OS/390, z/OS)

• Extensive experience with IBM Z Workload Scheduler (IZWS)

• Advanced TSO/ISPF editing skills

• Proficient in Job Control Language (JCL)

• Ability to automate tasks with REXX scripts
