Elevate your career as a Senior Linux Administrator with Raise in Calgary. This role emphasizes managing Linux enterprise servers and enhancing cloud integration in a financial environment.
Take on this 8-month contract to directly influence the performance and security of server operations. You will automate processes for efficiency and leverage your skills to maintain high system availability. Solutions will be developed in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage enterprise Linux server environments
• Automate tasks using industry-standard configuration management tools
• Optimize virtualized and cloud workloads for peak performance
• Create automation scripts to improve operational workflows
• Work with teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in Linux systems or Dev Ops
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles
• Skilled in RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu distributions
• Proficient in Bash scripting;
Python or Go is advantageous
• Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, VCP, or GCP are preferred
