The ASC is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator based in Calgary to oversee our infrastructure and cloud systems. Bring your technical skills to maintain system performance while facilitating our transition to cloud services.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Infrastructure and Operations Manager, applying your technical expertise to enhance the maturity of ASC's IT services. Responsibilities include managing SQL Server environments, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and creating automation scripts to improve operational efficiency. Your proactive approach will be vital in identifying risks and maintaining security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage cloud and on-premises system transitions
• Troubleshoot complex application integration issues
• Support and optimize SQL Server environments
• Create scripts to streamline operational tasks
• Conduct proactive system monitoring and risk management
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in computing or related field
• 8-10 years in infrastructure and cloud support
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and EntraID/Active Directory
• Familiarity with Power Shell and Nutanix AHV
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills
