Note
We are seeking a Senior SAP HR Functional Analyst to support SAP S/4
HANA Human Resources transformation initiatives within TC Energy. This role will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring HR processes are aligned with business objectives, SAP best practices, and clean-core architecture principles.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP S/4
HANA HR processes along with strong experience integrating SAP Success Factors, Workday, and SAP Fieldglass within large enterprise environments.
- 10+ years of SAP functional experience supporting enterprise SAP applications
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4
HANA Human Resources processes and functionality - Hands‑on experience with SAP Success Factors, Workday, and SAP Fieldglass integrations
- Experience designing, validating, and optimizing end‑to‑end HR business processes
- Strong understanding of Core HR, Organizational Management, Workforce Administration, Talent Management, and HR Operations
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP functional solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and business engagement experience
- Experience supporting SAP implementation, transformation, enhancement, and migration projects
- Experience working within large enterprise environments
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities
- SAP S/4
HANA implementation or transformation project experience - Experience with SAP clean‑core architecture principles
- Knowledge of HR master data management, governance, and stewardship
- Experience integrating SAP HR solutions with enterprise platforms
- Understanding of database management concepts, high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery
- Experience supporting production issues, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience with SAP testing, validation, deployment, and release management
- Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas, or Pipeline industry experience
- SAP Success Factors certification considered an asset
- Experience mentoring junior analysts and providing functional leadership
- Design and validate SAP S/4
HANA HR processes aligned with business requirements and SAP standard capabilities - Collaborate with HR business stakeholders to analyze requirements and recommend scalable SAP solutions
- Support Core HR, Workforce Management, Talent Management, and related HR business processes
- Ensure SAP HR solutions align with clean‑core architecture and enterprise standards
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, process reviews, and solution design discussions
- Evaluate, estimate, and prioritize support requests, enhancements, and project initiatives
- Lead SAP functional design, configuration validation, testing, and deployment activities
- Support integration of SAP S/4
HANA with SAP Success Factors, Workday, and SAP Fieldglass - Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful end‑to‑end solution delivery
- Support issue resolution, production support, and continuous process improvement
- Coordinate project activities, risks, timelines, and deliverables
- Provide guidance on SAP HR best practices and enterprise solution standards
- Work with internal stakeholders to evaluate, estimate, and prioritize service and support activities
- Monitor project deliverables and ensure timely execution of initiatives
- Provide reporting on project progress, risks, and business outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction
- Foster innovation and process optimization across HR technology solutions
