Senior Front End Designer at GoA

Join the Government of Alberta as a Senior Front End Designer focused on enhancing digital service delivery through innovative design solutions. This contract role is mainly remote, with occasional in-person collaboration in Alberta.
As part of the Digital Design and Delivery Division, your role will be crucial in the migration towards modern digital services. With a commitment to user-centered design, you will work alongside cross-functional teams in facilitating service reviews and digital transformation projects, aiming for efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user-centered front-end solutions responsive to service needs

• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and related documentation

• Actively participate in Agile project processes

• Conduct and report usability tests for current and future designs

• Review design accessibility in compliance with relevant standards
Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Front End Designer

• Expertise in creating UX design artifacts and prototypes

• Proven work in Agile product teams

• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)

• Familiarity with design tools like Adobe XD
