Gowling WLG seeks an Information Security Compliance Analyst to lead compliance initiatives in a mostly remote capacity. Manage security risks, audits, and policy adherence while collaborating with peers.
This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the firm's compliance with the Controlled Goods Program and acting as Company Security Officer. You will coordinate security assessments and audits, track compliance obligations, and work towards improving the Information Security Management System. Demonstrating excellence in these areas will directly impact the firm’s security posture and client trust.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess cybersecurity obligations per client guidelines
• Oversee internal and third-party security audits
• Conduct compliance training and awareness programs
• Collaborate with IS Coordinator on ISO 27001 preparation
• Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in information security or equivalent
• 5+ years in compliance or cybersecurity
• Certification as ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Auditor
• Strong understanding of Canadian security programs
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information
