Senior IdM Architect to advise authentication and identity management multi-agency Com

Our public sector client is seeking a Senior IdM Architect to advise on authentication and identity management for a multi-agency Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system using Auth0 integrations.

This is a Part time role (1-2 days/week). Candidates can be % remote in Canada, working MST hours.

• 10+ years of experience as a Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect
• 5+ years architecting Identity Management and Single Sign-On solutions
• 5+ years architecting Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) for large organizations
• 5+ years developing with Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, CA, Sail Point, or Ping Identity IAM products
• 2+ years with Microsoft Azure AD including Single Sign-On, MFA, Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, and ADFS
• 2+ years working with Azure AD B2B and B2C
• 3+ years configuring and developing with Active Directory, LDAP, and Power Shell
• 3+ years developing on SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect
• Nice to Have:
  Expertise in developing IdM roadmaps for organizations
• Leadership and executive-level coaching experience
• Broad knowledge of vendor identity and access management suites
• Publication of research or articles in recognized IT journals
• Previous municipal or government project experience

• Provide subject matter expertise on identity provider (IdP) and authentication architecture for a multi-agency CAD system.
• Advise on integrations with Auth0 as an identity broker with multiple IdPs.
• Assess and recommend strategies related to security, availability, MFA, and conditional access.
• Support implementation planning and alignment with multi-jurisdictional requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure consistent identity management standards across agencies.
