Senior Data Governance Analyst at TriSummit

Drive data governance initiatives with Tri Summit Utilities Inc. as a Senior Data Governance Analyst. Collaborate across teams to protect and optimize organizational data in this contract role.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Information Technology, you will advance the Data Governance and Information Lifecycle Management program for both US and Canadian utilities. Your expertise is critical in promoting data classification, lineage, and access governance, while fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of the enterprise Data Governance Framework.

• Maintain data governance policies and compliance standards.

• Create and enhance the Data Dictionary and Data Maps.

• Facilitate stewardship working groups and governance councils.

• Champion a data-centric culture through training and communications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• 5+ years in data governance practices.

• Experience with Microsoft Purview and data management tools.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Knowledge of compliance in regulated environments.
