Join Lunar Energy as a Data Infrastructure Engineer on a 6-month contract. Drive innovation by managing our enterprise data infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance.
You will be responsible for designing and maintaining complex data environments, focusing on reliability and scalability. Your hands-on experience with Vertica, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL is key for this role. Additionally, automation through Power Shell and Python scripting plays a vital part in streamlining operations and enhancing data pipeline efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain Vertica database clusters for analytics
• Configure SQL Server 2016/2019 for high availability
• Automate Windows server processes using Power Shell
• Create and manage ETL pipelines for various sources
• Administer PostgreSQL databases on Linux environments
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in database or systems engineering
• Strong skills in Power Shell and Python for automation
• Experience with ETL pipeline design across databases
• Familiarity with RHEL/CentOS and Windows Server management
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESXi hypervisor administration
