Network Specialist

This position requires a highly detail-oriented Network Specialist to design, install, and maintain complex network infrastructures. Located in either Calgary, Alberta, or Ottawa, Ontario, you will implement security measures and ensure peak performance across all sites. Your responsibilities include managing network access, providing technical support, and working on IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and install new network systems using hardware and software

• Perform routine maintenance and execute system upgrades

• Implement security measures and manage compliance with NIST 800-171

• Utilize SIEM tools for anomaly detection and resolution

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science

• 7+ years of network experience

• CCIE/CCNA certification preferred

• Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure

• Familiarity with cloud environments and security protocols
