Position: OT Security Analyst with Whitecap Resources
Step into the role of OT Security Analyst at Whitecap Resources Inc. and strengthen security across operational technology environments. Provide essential support while navigating complex security challenges.

In this crucial position, you will work closely with the OT Security team, providing tier 1 and tier 2 support for everyday security operations. The job includes reviewing security-related events, managing logging processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. A solid grasp of OT protocols and experience with SIEM technologies is necessary to effectively identify vulnerabilities and enforce security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support tier 1 & 2 security operations daily

• Analyze security events for critical importance

• Create and optimize automation for investigations

• Manage logging to enhance security visibility

• Ensure effective network segmentation for IT-OT

Requirements:

• 5–10 years in a security analyst capacity

• Associate Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science

• SSCP or CCSP knowledge preferred

• Familiarity with Power Shell or Python scripting

• Strong analytical and teamwork skills
