Datacenter Technician

Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Technician (L3) to support critical data center operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware issues, performing equipment installations and maintenance, monitoring systems, and ensuring operational excellence within the client's data center. This is an ONSITE role in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair server and hardware issues

Install, replace, and maintain IT equipment

Follow operational, safety, and security procedures

Document work performed and escalate issues as needed

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems

Must Haves

High school diploma and hands‑on experience troubleshooting computers, servers, or IT hardware OR diploma/certificate from a trade school or technical program in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Networking, Electronics, or a related field

Physically able to lift moderate to heavy equipment (35lbs+) and be on their feet majority of the day

Excellent communicator and strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities

Trustworthy, transparency in communication and inherently looking learn and be curious

Plusses

Working experience and knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems

Experience with a ticketing system and proven ability to manage priorities in the system

Data center experience at an enterprise level company
