Step into a high-impact role as a Senior Applied Scientist at MaintainX, specializing in Parts Intelligence. This remote opportunity emphasizes optimization and AI-driven decision support for inventory management.
You will be responsible for evolving the Parts Agent's intelligence and solutions. This includes developing machine learning models for reorder predictions, demand forecasting, and managing supplier data. Your collaboration with product and design teams will tackle complex inventory problems, fostering a user-focused iterative process for continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead optimization and machine learning initiatives for inventory
• Design sophisticated models for vendor lead times and safety stock
• Build and maintain tools for API integration with GenAI
• Work closely with PM and design to resolve inventory issues
• Iterate on solutions based on feedback from users
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in the software/data science industry
• Strong knowledge of optimization paradigms and forecasting
• Expertise in Python service engineering
• Degree in Operations Research or similar quantitative field
• Familiar with GenAI technologies
