Position: Senior SAP BTP Application Architect with strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and administering
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior SAP BTP Application Architect with strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and administering cloud-native SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise across SAP BTP development, administration, integration, and Fiori/UI5 application architecture.
Duration - 6 months plus extension
Work Mode - 5 days per week on site Calgary
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support SAP BTP cloud applications using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).Develop custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and enhance standard SAP applications.Build and manage OData services
, Node.js, JavaScript, Java, and SAP ABAP solutions.Design and implement integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.Integrate SAP and non-SAP applications using REST, SOAP, OData, and SFTP.Administer SAP BTP environments, including Cloud Foundry, subaccounts, entitlements, destinations, Cloud Connector, certificates, and security (SSO, OAuth, SAML).Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize BTP landscapes using SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) and other monitoring tools.Support SAP HANA environments, including system monitoring, upgrades, security, and performance optimization.Manage source control using Git Hub and follow Dev Ops best practices.Required Skills
8+ years of SAP development experience with 3+ years in SAP BTP
.Strong hands-on experience with:SAP BTP (CAP, Cloud Foundry)SAP Fiori/UI5SAP Integration Suite (CPI)Node.js, JavaScript, JavaSAP ABAP & OData ServicesSAP Business Application Studio (BAS)Git HubExperience administering and optimizing SAP BTP environments.Strong understanding of SAP functional processes and enterprise application architecture.Experience with SAP HANA administration, monitoring, and upgrades.Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.Nice to Have
