Integration Architect

Position: Integration Architect Role
Become an Integration Architect with InSync Systems Inc. on a multi-year contract based in Calgary, Alberta. This is an onsite position focusing on developing reusable and secure APIs across various systems.
This role is tailored for an experienced Integration Architect dedicated to transforming system integrations by replacing outdated models with contemporaneous API practices. You will design integration architectures, guide the APIs’ security, and streamline interactions with both internal and external systems, including Azure and GIS platforms. Building relationships with security teams will be crucial for compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create target-state integration and API architecture

• Establish API standards and documentation protocols

• Facilitate transition from point-to-point to API-focused integrations

• Design integrations for Azure and public data services

• Document API specifications and integration architecture
Requirements:

• 8+ years in integration architecture or API design

• Strong command over REST, GraphQL, and secure exchanges

• Experience with public sector and energy sectors preferred

• Background in legacy system modernization advantageous

• Ability to adhere to security and governance protocols
