Senior Data Governance Manager at TELUS

Elevate TELUS’ B2C strategies as a Senior Data Governance Manager focused on responsible data, privacy, and AI solutions. Drive ethical technology implementation and safeguard data integrity.
In this role, you will provide guidance to business units on leveraging data ethically while ensuring compliance with privacy standards. With at least five years of industry experience, you will lead cross-functional efforts to develop innovative strategies addressing privacy, compliance, and governance considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support B2C units in ethical data use initiatives

• Educate teams on data governance and ethical technology

• Lead strategies to de-risk business concerning data compliance

• Collaborate to implement technology solutions and frameworks

• Identify and mitigate data-related risks swiftly
Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in data ethics and privacy

• IAPP certification or willingness to obtain

• Strong knowledge of regulatory laws and best practices

• Proven influencing and negotiation skills

• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly
