This senior level role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud financial management, cost optimization, and solutioning. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who is actively engaged in the Fin Ops community and ready to drive strategic impact.
Role Highlights- Define and execute cloud financial strategy
- Establish governance frameworks and Fin Ops best practices
- Lead a high-performing Fin Ops team
- Collaborate with finance, engineering, and product teams
- Automation and Solution Architect Fin Ops Experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Active involvement in the Fin Ops Community or similar industry groups
- Well versed with usage of
- Conduct training and on boarding sessions on Fin Ops for various stakeholders
- Help the customer with on boarding process and adoption of the Fin Ops platform
- Identify and communicate dependencies on various stakeholders
- Plan and collate the Cloud Fin Ops requirements with the Customer
- Assessment of existing reports and data around cloud spend
- Assessment of Past bills and invoices/purchases
- Assessment of current utilizations on Cloud services
- Conduct periodic performance reviews with various stakeholders to optimize cloud consumption
- Deliver sample chargeback and show back reports from the Fin Ops Tool
- Flag any suspicious cost spikes, help in setting anomaly, and budget alerts for BU Teams
- Set scheduling rules, optimization rules, etc. as per the Customer requirements
- Showback/Chargeback and Business unit custom integration recommendation
- Work with the customer to help define Public Cloud Policies related to Fin Ops
- Track recommendations and initiatives
- Quick wins identification, Roadmap & Platform Recommendation with Business Case
- Cost Allocation (Tagging, Hierarchy, Metadata and Shared Cost)
- Experience with cloud cost management tools (Cloudability, Cloud Health, etc.).
- Strong experience of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure )
- Tracking Cloud Consumption & Spend Forecasting
- Performing Budget Management and Anomaly detection
- Utilizing Cloud Policy & Governance /Third Party Tool/Custom Dashboard
- Proactively monitor cloud usage patterns and identify anomalies, enabling quick action to prevent cost overruns.
Strong experience in capacity planning, or cloud operations, preferably in a large-scale SaaS environment - Excellent quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in data analysis and modeling methodologies for capacity forecasting
- Strong experience of cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure, SaaS vendors) and Cloud Native technologies (Kubernetes, Prometheus, Open Cost, etc)
