We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Administrator for onsite work in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, and cloud services, particularly Azure. You will also oversee virtualization setups and automate infrastructure tasks using Power Shell scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Active Directory environments
• Migrate enterprise systems to Azure Cloud services
• Automate tasks with Power Shell scripting
• Design scalable and secure server architectures
• Manage storage and backup solutions effectively
Requirements:
• Strong experience in Windows Server administration (2008 and newer)
• Hands-on knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning
• Understanding of server hardening and compliance
