Join a prominent telecom team as a Network Technician specializing in LTE and 5G systems in Alberta, Canada. This role demands expertise in installation and troubleshooting of advanced network infrastructures.
As part of the Field Service Organization, you will manage RAN equipment and data center functions, ensuring seamless service delivery. The technician must be adaptable to on-call schedules, assisting in emergency interventions and network enhancements. Your responsibilities will span from fiber connectivity to effective incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot wireless RAN infrastructure
• Optimize network performance through RF testing
• Oversee installation of microwave transport systems
• Track alarms and performance metrics with OSS/NMS
• Conduct hardware component replacements and upgrades
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on telecom experience
• Valid driver's license and tower climbing certification
• Familiarity with IP networking protocols and BGP/OSPF
• Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills
