Junior GUI Designer at General Dynamics

Shape the future of defense with General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada as a Junior GUI Designer. You'll focus on innovative Graphical User Interface designs for military hardware and software.

This role involves collaborating in an interdisciplinary team within the UX, Human Factors, and Design group. You'll create specialized GUI firmware and work on complex software applications using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Your expertise will contribute to the development and testing of impactful interfaces for mission-critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in interdisciplinary project teams

• Develop GUI firmware for military hardware

• Create front-end user interface designs

• Document GUI requirements and analysis

• Prepare design documentation for projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Experience in GUI design and Human-Computer Interaction

• Proficient with tools like Axure and Adobe Illustrator

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and within teams
