IT Facilities Coordinator Airports

Join Calgary Airports as an IT Facilities Coordinator. This full-time role focuses on managing critical infrastructure and ensuring operational excellence in a collaborative environment.

This is a unionized, full-time term role for two years, requiring on-site availability five days a week. The Technical Infrastructure team, known for its hands-on approach, manages communications rooms and data centers crucial to airport operations. You will lead maintenance inquiries and ensure compliance with IT standards, helping shape the facilities landscape at YYC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance and requests for communication rooms

• Ensure compliance with IT operational best practices

• Track contractor and vendor performance metrics

• Monitor environmental conditions for critical IT systems

• Coordinate installation and relocation of physical servers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

• At least six years of relevant experience in IT facilities

• Proven knowledge of SNMP-enabled devices

• Experience with physical infrastructure lifecycle activities

• Familiarity with inspection and audit processes
