What's The Team Like

The Technical Infrastructure team designs, builds, and operates the communication rooms, data centres, and networks that every system at YYC runs on, from passenger Wi-Fi and radios to public address and security. We're a hands-on, collaborative group of network, compute, and facilities specialists who partner across IT, projects, and vendors to deliver critical initiatives while keeping the airport running safely 24/7.

When our infrastructure performs, the whole airport does too.

    • Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, power) and elevate anomalies.
    • Coordinate routine maintenance activities to ensure operational continuity.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support after-hours incidents related to IT facilities and critical infrastructure.
  • Respond to urgent facility or infrastructure issues outside of regular business hours as required.
