Backup & Recovery Administrator

Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Backup & Recovery Administrator to manage and support enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Rubrik Backup & Recovery
, strong infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain backup environments across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support enterprise backup and recovery solutions using Rubrik
  .
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backup-related issues.
• Support backup environments across Windows, Linux, VMware
  , and enterprise infrastructure.
• Maintain backup documentation, procedures, and operational reports.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure backup services.

Required

Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Backup & Recovery Administration
  .
• Hands‑on experience with Rubrik Backup & Recovery
  .
• Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux, VMware
  , and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise backup solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
