Event Technology Specialist

Lumi Global is seeking for local candidates in Calgary, Canada for the Event Technology Specialist role.

The role consists of audiovisual operation and client guidance for in-room, hybrid and virtual AGMs, IR meetings, Town Halls, etc. The technologies used are audiovisual equipment and proprietary softwares and cloud platforms. The clients are public issuers, private issuers, legal entities, organizations and unions.

This position is hybrid. Work in our state-of-the-art Lumi Experience studio and venue space, from home, and on-site based on the event need.

• Operation of proprietary voting and interactive technologies.
• Operation of audiovisual equipment in our venues, on-site and remotely.
• Project management, notes taking and sharing, and follow-ups with the client.
• Guide the clients to deliver their best events.
• Preparation and maintenance of equipment, platforms and venue space.
• Broadcasting events (vMix, Encoders, AV equipment)

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience in corporate events.
• Organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to self-teach and follow trainings on your own.
• Problem-solving capabilities.
• Ease to communicate with clients.
