Job Description :
Our client is looking for Business Analyst in Calgary!
Must Have Primary Skills :- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting application development or modernization projects.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops, Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- Knowledge of source control, branching strategies, merging, and repository governance.
- Experience documenting current-state and future-state technical processes and workflows.
- Experience supporting cloud migration and/or application modernization initiatives.
- Ability to coordinate across development, QA, Dev Ops, cloud engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Experience with deployment planning, functional validation, regression testing, and production readiness.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Azure Cloud environments and cloud-native application delivery.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops best practices and deployment automation.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring and operational readiness reviews.
- Experience defining release management processes and deployment strategies.
- Exposure to infrastructure modernization or platform engineering initiatives.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale application transformation programs.
- Knowledge of ITIL or application support processes.
- Previous experience in financial services, energy, or other highly regulated industries.
- Collaborate with application, Dev Ops, and cloud teams to support application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Analyze and document current-state and future-state application delivery processes.
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation, release management, and deployment readiness.
- Coordinate build, test, release, and production deployment activities across technical teams.
- Review branching strategies, source control, and repository governance using Azure Dev Ops and Git.
