Security Engineering Manager Role

Position: Clio Security Engineering Manager Role
Lead Clio’s Security Team as a Security Engineering Manager, influencing technical direction and team growth. This hybrid role allows for flexibility while ensuring strong performance and collaboration.

As a Security Engineering Manager, you will guide a team in a hands-on capacity, developing technical solutions and enhancing security. Your responsibilities will include coding, reviewing, and mentoring, while driving security compliance programs like SOC 2 and FedRAMP. You'll adapt roadmaps to meet changing demands and foster a productive environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create adaptive roadmaps for security initiatives

• Own security compliance programs and audit evidence

• Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent

• Lead impactful technical solutions for security posture

• Participate actively in code reviews and projects

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hiring and developing engineers

• Strong AWS security experience on EC2 and managed services

• Proficient in Terraform, Git Ops, and autoscaling

• Knowledge of SIEM platforms like ELK/Open Search

• Familiarity with Ruby or Python as coding languages
