Senior Advisor in Data Governance at Suncor

In this pivotal role, the Senior Advisor will assess current master data processes and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders. You’ll recommend governance frameworks while ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance. Your expertise will drive improvements in data integrity and decision-making capabilities throughout Suncor’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead assessments of master data processes and governance practices

• Facilitate workshops to identify risks and improvement opportunities

• Develop recommendations for governance frameworks and operating models

• Identify critical data elements and quality requirements

• Define approaches for data quality management and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• 8+ years in Master Data Management, Governance, or related fields

• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with diverse stakeholders

• Strong knowledge of SAP master data processes and integrations

• Familiarity with ISO 8000 and SOX controls

• Experience with enterprise data platforms like SAP and Snowflake
