Responsibilities
Product & Backlog Management
Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize feature requests and work items, ensuring timely delivery to usersMaintain the product backlog with accurate, up-to-date documentation of business and technical requirementsInvestigate feature requests and enhancements to determine value, feasibility, and viabilityEnsure product backlog items are clear and refined for proper estimation and sizing, leading to accurate release planningRequirements & Documentation
Write clear, concise, and actionable requirements documents and user stories from which developers can design and build solutionsCoordinate with the Business Analysis team members to ensure documentation is thorough, agreed upon, and effectively communicated to all stakeholdersCollaborate with development teams to ensure feature design and functionality is thoroughly understoodTranslate ambiguous or high-level business requests into structured, well-defined requirements with clear acceptance criteriaStakeholder & User Engagement
Gather comprehensive requirements from stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expertise are incorporated into product decisionsConduct user interviews, feedback sessions, and discovery activities with business stakeholders and end users to gather insightsCollate and synthesize data gathered from end users and product analytics to inform product strategyUX & Design Collaboration
Engage with UX Design to refine feature ideas by developing designs and prototypesParticipate in design reviews, contribute to usability discussions, and ensure that product experiences are intuitive and aligned with user needsContinuous Improvement & Enablement
Consistently evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement of applications from business and technical perspectives to meet evolving needs in a changing business climateHelp develop training strategies and materials for users where necessaryExplore automation and AI opportunities in collaboration with the Product ManagerSkills and Experience
4 to 6 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or a technology-focused project roleDemonstrated ability to translate ambiguous or high-level requests into structured, actionable requirements with clear acceptance criteriaFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, or formal Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience developing both technical and business requirements documentationWorking knowledge of development management tools such as Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) or Microsoft Dev Ops (Azure Dev Ops)Proficiency in Figma or other design and prototyping tools, including design review and collaboration with UX/design teamsWorking knowledge of analytics or BI tools (e.g., Power BI or similar) to interpret product usage data and inform decisionsThe following experience is considered an asset:
Experience in professional services, accounting, or ERP/practice management platforms (e.g., billing, AR, or financial workflow software) Exposure to enterprise software environments serving multi-stakeholder, multi-region teams Experience facilitating workshops or structured discovery sessions with cross-functional stakeholder groups
